Welcome to the tenth issue of the Aha Atlas Newsletter! Do you warm up your body before teaching? Or do you skip it, and you know you can demo Rocking cold? 😬
This month, let’s talk about the warm up: why it’s important – not just for clients, but for teachers (that’s you) – and how to do it efficiently (ahem, quickly). We know you’re busy, and between getting your beverage ready, reading class or client notes, and making sure you’re on time, warming up our own body is often the last thing on our minds.
Instructors, this issue is all about you. Join Kai-Ting in the Move Section for a warm up designed especially for Pilates instructors. Then wrap up your day with Talese in the Grow Section, where she’ll lead you through a cool down to revive you after a day of teaching. Lastly, we have a special announcement! 📣 Next month, we’re running The Warm Up Challenge. You’ll do your own warm up before teaching, 5 days a week for 2 weeks. Our hope is you’ll start to make it a habit. We’ll be joining you by posting our own warm ups on Instagram stories. It’s a free challenge, so invite your fellow instructors to join you. The dates are February 7-20. At the end of this email, you’ll find a template to mark your progress during the challenge. We’ll be announcing things on social media soon, but we wanted you to be the first to know. 💋
